With the beginning of the assembly of the first installations, the countdown has officially begun to La Notte delle Streghe 2025, five days of shows, music, performances, markets, and good food that will make the ancient heart of San Giovanni in Marignano shine brighter than ever. And this year La Notte delle Streghe is among the big events of the La Notte Rosa weekend. From 19 to 23 June, the festival celebrating the summer solstice.

Gold is the theme chosen for this edition, a reference to the colour of ripe wheat in the Malatesta Granary and to the precious element dear to the alchemists. A symbol of transformation and desires that, starting with the image signed by the illustrator and cartoonist Alessandro Baronciani, will inspire urban settings and scenography - curated by Giada Morri, dressing the village in magical reflections and iridescent suggestions, in an enchanted atmosphere that blends past and present for a unique and unrepeatable experience elsewhere.

Once again, this edition will feature a very rich programme of international shows flanked by dozens of entertainment and animation proposals by local realities, from dance to theatre, from live music to comic strips, from creative handicrafts to activities for children.

Confirmed is the artistic direction of L'Ufficio Incredibile by Alice Mazzini, a professional with a long experience in the world of performing arts and cultural planning, who will bring to San Giovanni in Marignano artists from all over the world, national previews, debuts, and Italian companies among the most appreciated on the urban theatre and nouveau cirque circuit. These include the Compagnia Mosqueta, performing for the first time in Europe from Argentina with the show Trastocando, Pantao, arriving from Germany for the first time in Italy with his surprising giant turtle, as well as the premiere of Argentinean Fermin Morà, a modern Charlie Chaplin balanced between poetry, smiles, and improvisation.

And again: the uniqueness of Tridiculos, three artists - a Russian who grew up in Tel-Aviv and two Ukrainians - who met in Berlin and are now enchanting the stages of Europe with an overwhelming mix of beatbox, breakdance and acrobatic dance, up to the splendour of Opera fiammae, a company that has made fire its art, combining dance, theatre, juggling, circus arts, magic games and special effects in a breathtaking show.

Five days of performances culminating on the night of 23 June with the Fire Rite of the Night of St. John in the Ventena stream.

The programme of La Notte delle Streghe (The Witches' Night) once again sets out to create a suspended time, enhancing one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer and celebrating one of humanity's oldest rites: the summer solstice. Five magical days to experience culture, popular roots, creativity and magic, an event that continues to grow and renew itself and that year after year never ceases to amaze.
