DESCRIZIONE EVENTO
JASHGAWRONSKY BROTHERS
POP BINS
Comedy 'n' music for mad people
By and with: Brother Suren, Brother Richard, Brother Francis & Brother Thomas
Originally from an orphanage in Yerevan, Armenia, brothers Pavel, Francis, Suren Richard and Thomas timidly landed in the West, which initially didn't understand them... and perhaps still doesn't. But then they started playing.
With instruments made entirely from recycled materials - brooms, buckets, bins, graters, toilet paper - they transform rubbish into pop music, between irony, genius and the poetry of the everyday. Theirs is a sound research born of poverty of resources, but rich in intelligence, inventiveness and fun.
In more than fifteen years, they have conquered European audiences with their unique style, halfway between modern clowns and masks of a renewed Commedia dell'Arte: musicians, actors and performers in a surreal and enthralling show.
Their success raises one big question: is pop trash or is trash pop? Find out with Pop Bins.
