After the eagerly awaited previews, on Friday 20 June Pink Night comes into its own with an explosive day that promises to be one of the most intense and spectacular of the summer. From morning to late night, the Romagna Riviera will be criss-crossed by a wave of events mixing music, art, entertainment, sport, culture, and moments dedicated to the family. The common thread: the desire to get excited together, by the sea.

Rimini will turn the spotlight on the first evening of the RDS Summer Festival, where artists such as Alessandro, Aiello, Bigmama, Carl Brave, Olly and Sarah Toscano will make Piazzale Fellini vibrate in an open-air arena. On the beach, ‘Un Mare di Rosa’ transforms the shoreline into a huge stage of music and dance, while the seafront comes alive with races, comedy shows, folk performances, opera and creative handicrafts. In Riccione, Hit's Summer Night will make Piazzale Roma dance with the most iconic DJs of Italian music, while Piazzale Ceccarini will be the realm of the ‘Kids Family Festival’, with musicals, talks, games, and the Winx Glitter Party.

Misano will not be long in coming either: Paolo Belli and his Big Band will overwhelm Piazza della Repubblica with swing and soul, while Portoverde will be set ablaze with an exciting flamenco show. In Cattolica, Francesco Sarcina will stage an intimate and emotionally-charged acoustic concert, while in Bellaria and Igea Marina rhythm will dominate with explosive DJ sets and a Carnival in Pink full of floats and masks.

From Cervia to San Mauro, passing through Gatteo Mare, Coriano, Verucchio, and Faenza, each locality will make its own unique contribution to the festival: concerts, shows for children, night-time adventure trails, exhibitions, sunset bike rides, and gastronomic and artistic events will transform villages and towns into a great widespread spectacle.

In Ferrara, refined music with Pianoestense, solidarity concerts at the Darsena, guided tours under the pink light of Porta Paola, and medieval shows will make the historic centre shine. And then Comacchio, where the Porto Garibaldi beach will host a live performance by Alex Wyse and a DJ set will close the evening.

But the most eagerly awaited moment will come at the stroke of midnight: the simultaneous fireworks display that will light up the pink sky along the entire Riviera. An explosion of lights, emotions and wonder that will ideally - and visually - unite every corner of Romagna in one big embrace.
